Three months is enough to move from average to excellent — if every week has a job to do.
Days 1–30: cover the syllabus
Go chapter by chapter through every subject, textbook first. Your only goal is that no chapter is completely unknown. Make one page of notes per chapter — formulas, definitions, diagrams — in your own handwriting. This page becomes gold in the last week.
Days 31–60: practice by chapter
Now switch from reading to solving. For each chapter, take a fresh question paper — mixed MCQs, short answers and long answers — and write the answers with a pen, timed. Generate chapter-wise papers free on 7Marks, then mark yourself honestly with the answer key.
Keep an error notebook: every wrong answer gets one line — the question type and the mistake. Most students discover 80% of their marks are lost to the same five repeated mistakes.
Days 61–85: full papers, exam conditions
- Two full-length papers per subject, 3 hours, no phone in the room.
- Alternate subjects daily so nothing goes cold.
- After each paper, spend as long reviewing it as you spent writing it.
The last 5 days
No new topics. Read only your one-page chapter notes and your error notebook. Sleep 7–8 hours — memory consolidates during sleep, and a tired brain loses more marks than an unrevised chapter.
When you get stuck
Do not lose an evening to one doubt. Snap a photo of the question into 7Solve, read the step-by-step solution, then immediately try a similar question yourself. Stuck-time is the silent killer of preparation plans.
