How to ask for deletion
You can start it either way — both reach the same place:
- In the 7Solve app: open Settings → Your account → Delete my account. It brings you to this page.
- By email: write to contact@7by.in from the email address your account uses, with the subject "Delete my 7By account". Sending it from that address is how we know the request is really yours.
What happens next
- We reply to confirm we have your request, normally within 7 days.
- Your account and the data listed below are deleted within 30 days of your request, and we email you when it is done.
- Once deleted, the account cannot be restored. Any unused credits and any active plan end with it, so use them first if you want to.
What is deleted
- Your account: your name, your email address, your password (or your Google sign-in link) and your sign-in sessions on every device.
- Your credit balance and your plan.
- Questions and answers you chose to send us with "Report it", and your support messages.
- Typed questions cached on our server are already removed within a week, whether or not you ask.
What is kept, and why
- Payment records — the order number, amount, date and plan of each purchase — are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, and are used for nothing else. Card and bank details are never stored by us; payments are handled by our payment gateway.
- Standard server logs (time, IP address, which service answered) expire on their own schedule and hold no question text.
What lives only on your own device
7Solve keeps your notebook, saved doubts, Mistake Book, flashcards and learning record in the app's own storage on your phone or browser. We never receive them, so deleting your account does not touch them. To remove them, clear the app's data (Android: Settings → Apps → 7Solve → Storage → Clear data) or uninstall the app.
